- This is an early carrot with long, smooth roots and very good sweet flavour. Versatile, it will produce some of the first finger carrots of the season but you can enjoy it right through until October.
- Easily sown direct in the garden. Sow little and often for a continuous crop.
Sow & Grow: Outdoors: sow thinly, January-July, where they are to crop, 1.5cm (½") deep, directly into finely-prepared, well-drained soil, which has already been watered. Allow 30cm (1') between rows, or sow thinly, directly into 25cm (10") pots. January to March sowings can be made under cloches, or in large pots in a cool greenhouse. Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days. Thin by harvesting young carrots evenly, allowing remainder to grow on. In pots, harvest all roots together when approx. 10cm (4") long. Water well until plants are established. Harvest: April-October.
